Is the Zeekr 001 as good as a Porsche Taycan?
Zeekr's flagship shooting-brake shares Geely's SEA platform with the Polestar 4 but takes a very different personality. The 2025 facelift and the FR halo model turned it into a genuine cross-shopping consideration for premium buyers.
Three variants, one platform
RWD Long Range: 100 kWh, 620 km WLTP, 310 kW.
AWD Performance: 100 kWh, 580 km, 400 kW, 3.8s 0–100.
FR (2025): four-motor 930 kW, 2.1s 0–100. Halo model, limited-volume.

Where the Taycan still leads
Steering feel, brake modulation, and body control in aggressive driving — Porsche's chassis and calibration DNA still shows through. The 001 is very good but recognisably one step behind on a challenging road.
Ergonomics: physical controls, HUD calibration, seat range. The 001 has bettered most rivals here but still trails Porsche on 'obvious once you drive it' details.
Value math
Zeekr 001 Performance in Netherlands lists at €65,900. Taycan 4S at €118,600. You could buy a 001 Performance and a Zeekr X for less than one 4S.
For company-car buyers, the BIK / lease-cost delta is often the deciding factor irrespective of preference.
